Mental health recovery: "A process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential."
An insightful and vulnerable session on mental health recovery. Great for keynotes.
Questify Your Life: Gamification and Positive Psychology for Enjoyable Self-Improvement
In this fun and interactive session, Sierra blends evidence-based techniques with gamification to bring a sense of adventure, accomplishment, and play to everyday life. The presentation introduces the foundations of gamification and positive psychology and demonstrates how they can be used to create a flexible, personalized “Questify Your Life” system. The tone is playful, courageous, and inspirational.
Participants learn Sierra’s three-step process for quest creation: mapping the journey, establishing the character, and designing fulfilling quests. She shares real-world examples from her own life and invites the audience to try quests of their own.
I’m Sierra Grandy, a neurodiversity educator, disability rights advocate, mental health keynote speaker, attorney, and founder of Questify Your Life LLC – a Multimedia Storytelling Studio & Creative Guild. I help people, organizations, and workplaces understand neurodiversity, mental health recovery, reduce ableism, and build environments where everyone, especially disabled and neurodivergent people, has a chance to thrive.
My work is deeply rooted in lived experience and storytelling as a neurodivergent, disabled person and as someone in long-term mental health recovery.
